Often times, the angel would move throughout the expansion of students out in the courtyard and watch them, learning and experiencing more of the human race which he found so enticing. On other occasions, however, Jophiel longed to slip away into a sort of revered solitude.
When such emotions overcame him, there were two places he particularly liked to venture. The first was, of course, the music room where he could play instrument upon instrument to his hearts content. The second was the auditorium, where the stage was vastly open to any means of solitary actions. That afternoon, a singing group occupied the music room, so Jophiel prompted towards the auditorium. He had his pencil and drawing pat tucked under his arm and was moving through the crowds towards the secluded area.
Upon entering the auditorium, Jophiel flipped on the stage lights and moved over to the spotlight. Grinning, Jophiel moved on to beginning his drawing. Like music, art was a passion of Jophiel’s that he thoroughly enjoyed partaking in. Within minutes he had doodled over twelve pictures, the pad’s papers splayed out around him. The pictures’ subjects ranged from animals to people to objects. They were exceptionally well done, as were most of the artistic things Jophiel attempted. Yet he was never satisfied, disorderly throwing the unfinished drawings this way and that way without much care. Though nice, Jophiel never found the things to be good enough.
The plight of an artist, apparently.

Classes were all over, and Suzuru let her shoulders relax and her mind to clear. She'd been dozing off during math, and even though she was fighting to keep awake, well, she got caught anyways. "All those people staring at me when the teacher called me out on it... It was so uncomfortable. Not to mention I bet everyone will look at me like 'That girl who fell asleep'." [/i] The thoughts came out ruefully, and whether she was over dramatizing the situation or not, the purple haired girl still wasn't excited for classes tomorrow. A sullen expression on her face, she couldn't stop replaying the moment in her head over and over again, the embarrassment and unsettling feelings just building up on top of each other. For this reason, Suzuru was a bit more self conscious, constantly observing the other students around her for pointing or whispers. Now was the worst time to get that creeping feeling everyone's eyes were on her. With all the careful watching she was doing, Suzuru noticed someone enter the auditorium. Informally she wouldn't give that a second thought. People when in and out of the auditorium a lot, and if it didn't concern her she didn't need to stick her nose in. But this time, the purple haired girl felt a little curious. If that person was alone, maybe she could hide out in the building without them noticing. Do her homework, maybe take a nap... And when it got a little later, no one would be outside to stare at her as she went back to her dorm. "But only if that person is actually alone in there."Slowly making her way to the entrance of the auditorium, Suzuru hesitated to open the door. What if it squeaked and echoed? It would blow any chance of just sitting inside and leaving her presence unknown. But then again...there wasn't much else she could do anyways. Placing a hand the door, she tried to cautiously open it a smidgen to peek in, but the moment the hinges moved, the doors squeaked and caused Suzuru to freeze in her tracks. This wasn't good. The person was alone, yes, but now she'd made herself known. The doors were dead giveaways. Pursing her mouth and taking a breath, she pushed the door open naturally, ignoring the sounds, since it wasn't any use sneaking in anymore. Warily looking around the auditorium, all that was there was the person she assumed she saw entering, and no one else. Staring at the stage, the person seemed to be a boy, and was drawing. Slowly approaching, trying to gain confidence in her step, the purple haired girl halted at the foot of the stage. Now she could see the papers all around him, and the girl blinked as she craned her neck to see what was on them. However, she stopped suddenly when something came to her mind. "O-Oh, um, would you mind if I looked at what's on the papers...?" Maybe it would have been okay to just sit and disappear in the large open area of the auditorium. But technically it seemed better to let him know some things to avoid awkward confrontations later and all...[/blockquote]

LET ME LET ME RAISE YOU UP ALL I WANT IS TO KEEP YOU SAFE FROM THE COLD, GIVE YOU ALL THAT YOUR There was really no need for Suzuru to fear being exposed for sneaking into the auditorium after Jophiel. The archangel was one of those artists who became so lost in his project that he couldn’t possibly be bothered by trivial entrances or exits and by no means would a little door squeak cause any great alarm to the blond. In fact, it wasn’t until Suzuru was right beside the stage that Jophiel even registered her presence. Had she been an enemy, it probably wouldn’t have been in Jophiel’s best interest to just sit there and allow for such a sneaky entrance, but when lost in art it was hard to quickly find one’s way back.
Glancing up from his current piece of paper, Jophiel caught the dark-haired girl’s gaze and looked at her curiously, as though he was completely shocked to see anyone else roaming around the open area. A quick scan of her appearance gave Jophiel a name and basic synopsis of the young woman before her. She was Suzuru, a teen who was quiet and mostly stuck to herself. She seemed to be in a not-so pleasant mood and Jophiel momentarily wondered what was wrong. It was his nature to yearn to help people with any problems they were having and this encounter was no different.
”Of course no,” Jophiel said with a smile as he leaned back and relaxed on his haunches. His drawing pad was set on his left thigh, where he had previously been scribbling some little picture of a lake and a tree.
He himself glanced around as well, taking in some of his quickly-drawn sketches. They ranged in subject matter from castles to beaches and people he’d observed. While Suzuru glanced over these drawings, Jophiel found his gaze lingering on her, taking her in as the precious human soul she was. He loved the human race, he truly did, and he found them quite extraordinary on a daily basis. From the way they lived to how they interacted and were successful, humans were a fascinating species that truly intrigued the blonde angel.
”I’m sorry,” he said suddenly, sitting up again and even leaning forward slightly, a warm smile playing at his lips, ”but would it be any trouble if I asked you to be a model? I’d been longing for a living model and you seem the perfect person to fill the role. Would you mind?”
He was grinning at her happily, encouraging her on with his smile. He wanted her to want to be drawn and he knew he would do her justice. Above most things, Jophiel adored drawing portraits of willing models and showing them how beautiful and wonderful they were in his eyes. For some reason, he felt as though this young woman before him needed that sort of little treat.
